Nestled within the treetops of a 46-acre estate at the north-western tip of the island, the Datai Langkawi is utterly unique. Enveloped by a 10-million-year-old virgin rainforest home to flying lemurs, dusk leaf monkeys, and a plethora of birds and butterflies, you’ll find a collection of rooms, suites and villas elevated within the forest’s lush canopy or with direct access to the resort’s private white-sand beach. For a cut above, the Datai Estate with its five bedrooms, private pool and garden is one of the largest hotel villas in Asia.
