Where lush vegetation and swaying palms open the door to a sophisticated combination of pleasure and nature, resulting in a magical ambiance of barefoot elegance. The newly opened Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa is a 5 star deluxe all inclusive resort, conceived with the discerning traveller in mind, with its modern, minimalist architecture, real cultural experiences, and meticulously perfected services that defy expectation. A gorgeous 100-hectare lagoon with one of the best coral reefs in the Maldivian ecosystem surrounds the Resort, which is situated in the Raa Atoll, in the northern part of the Maldives archipelago. The Resort is situated on a lush private island measuring 7 hectares, with 1.2 kilometres of white sand beach. There are 80 magnificent villas on the island, divided into six different types, including 38 beach villas and 42 overwater villas. The resort is accessible by picturesque seaplane in 45 minutes from the Malé airport or, alternatively, by domestic flight in 40 minutes to Ifuru Domestic Airport and speedboat in 5 minutes (especially advantageous for quick connections with the Malé airport in the event of evening international flights)
