Engulfed by beautifully landscaped gardens, palm trees and pools, Heritage Le Telfair Golf and Wellness Resort is located on a former sugar plantation on the south coast of Mauritius. Taking inspiration from the 19th-century Irish naturalist, Charles Telfair, the all-suite hotel boasts French plantation-style architecture with a modern redesign. Flanking a narrow stretch of pristine beachfront, guests can look forward to sunset yoga, a kitesurfing school and beach movie nights during their stay here. The crème de la crème has to be the 18-hole award-winning golf course with unlimited green fees and 24-hour butler service for each and every room.

A fantastic base for nature lovers, the 2,500 hectare Domaine de bel Ombre estate is home to one of the largest populations of sea horses on the island. Guests can look forward to forest bathing, nature walks and mountain biking in the Heritage Nature Reserve.
