Itinerary

On arrival, you will be assisted for check in at Taj Palace New Delhi.

Delhi is not one city. Within it lie several cities, each with its own distinctive allure. Historically speaking, what we see today is the composite of seven older cities that were built, looted, destroyed, and then rebuilt over a period encompassing several centuries. The thriving metropolis that you see today is testament to the spirit of Delhi a city that is unapologetically kitsch under its cultured veneer.
In the morning, sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Mosque and an interesting rickshaw ride through the streets of Old Delhi. In the afternoon visit Gandhi Smriti, a museum dedicated to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Later, visit the Sikh temple and witness the community kitchen, where thousands of worshippers are fed round the clock. Also, drive through the Presidential Avenue.

Proceed to the 16th century Humayun's Tomb, the first garden tomb of Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Afternoon at your leisure.
This morning drive to Agra. Arrive at the Taj Hotel & Convention Centre and check in.

Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, this city is home to some of the finest examples of Mughal architecture including its pinnacle Taj Mahal. Agra served as the capital of the Mughal Empire until Shahjahan shifted it to Delhi.

Afternoon visit Taj Mahal, built in the mid-17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an expression of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, truly one of the wonders of the world. (Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)
Drive to Jaipur en-route visit the 16th century deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue the drive to Jaipur. Arrive and check-in at Jai Mahal Palace.

The Pink City of Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. It is also amongst the most favoured destinations for shopping. The buildings in the old city were painted with an auspicious rose pink shade under the orders of Maharaja Ram Singh to welcome the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria on their visit to India in 1876. This earned the city its famous epithet, as it quite literally blushed pink with the pleasure of welcoming its guests.
In the morning, visit the 16th century Amber Fort, a romantic and classic Rajasthani fort. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, known for its mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Also visit the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar), an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century.

Spend the afternoon at your leisure.
