Itinerary
Arrive in Sabah and meet your representative at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Transfer privately to your beachside resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort – Deluxe Garden View Room

After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the mountain gardens and take a treetop stroll on the canopy walkway (subject to maintenance schedule). Optional dip in Poring Hot Springs. Return to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon.

Fly to Sandakan in the morning. Visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. After lunch, transfer to the jetty for a scenic boat ride along the Kinabatangan River to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon river cruise to spot monkeys, hornbills, and crocodiles.

Start the day with an early morning cruise to Ox-Bow Lake for birdwatching. After breakfast, visit a nearby village to learn about the local Orang Sungai culture. Later, embark on another river cruise to search for proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. Optional: night safari cruise.
Overnight: Bilit Rainforest Lodge – Standard Chalet

After breakfast, travel to Gomantong Cave, famous for its edible bird nests and limestone formations. Continue to the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary for close-up wildlife encounters. End the day at your tranquil forest lodge near Sepilok.
